Question
I am trying to access the installation menu on my 1942 radar. INSTALLATION SETUP(number 24) shows up at the bottom of the OTHER MENU as outlined in the installation manual but is inaccessible when selected with the cursor and the [ENTER] button is pushed.
Solution
Access to the installation menu is normally locked out. Follow the procedure below to access INSTALLATION SETUP:
1) With the power off, push and hold the HM-OFF/GAIN knob while turning on power to the radar display. Continue to hold the HM-OFF/GAIN knob about 5 seconds.
2) This will allow access to INSTALLATION SETUP (number 24) in the OTHER MENU when selected with the cursor and [ENTER] button is pushed.
