Question
Do I need NMEA 0183 to get position on my FCV1150 sounder (lat lon) when connecting to TZ Touch 14 by Lan cable or does the data come over the Lan cable.
Solution
The FCV1150 would still require that NMEA 0183 data be sent to the sounder if you wish to have Lat/Lon information on the machine. The Ethernet connection will allow for sounder viewing and control at the NN3D/TZTouch but not sharing of NMEA data.
