Question
What am I looking at when I turn on the A-Scope feature of my fish finder?
Solution
The A-Scope gives an expanded view of the real-time sounding image. On a normal sounder display, the far right hand side of the display is real-time. Everything to the left of that is historical data. Using the A-scope makes it easier to see the real time information in an expanded display format which allows easier detection of weaker targets.
