Captain Jamie Thinnes has been a part of the industry since 1993, working on the water daily to educate those that want to learn about the Southern California bite. Captain Jamie has been operating one of the longest-running 4-pack operations in San Diego, home to some of the best salt water fishing in the world, teaching people from all walks of life proper fishing and boating techniques.

Captain Jamie is no stranger to fishing Southern California waters. Growing up working on the local boats Freelance & Thunderbird out of Davey's Locker in Newport Beach, his education has been cultivated by some of the best captains in the those fleets. Whether fishing for yellowtail, offshore tuna, calico bass, or the elusive white sea bass, Captain Jamie takes great pride on fishing hard to fill each trip with a lifetime of memories.

Captain Jamie Thinnes is certified with the U.S. Coast Guard with a Master 50 Ton Captains license.

Captain Jamie's go-to vessel, SEASONS, is a 2009 Parker 3420 XLD pilot house that was built for fishing. Along with her navigation suite from Furuno, her CH270 Searchight Sonar makes SEASONS an ideal choice for full day, 1/2 day charters or open party trips to fish the beautiful, rich Southern California waters.
