BCP6201

The BCP6201 display features a large, bright screen to monitor battery voltage and current. The unit can be bracket-mounted on a desktop or overhead, or flush-mounted in a console. A battery meter display is a GMDSS requirement.

There are two alert priorities: 'Warning' and 'Caution.' 'Warning' is to make the bridge team aware of conditions that are not immediately hazardous but may become so. 'Caution' is to alert the bridge team of a condition that requires immediate attention.

Alerts are further classified by Category, A, B or C, according to their degree of severity or source. Category A is for alerts with additional information for decision support. Category B is for alerts where no additional information for decision support is necessary. Category C is for alerts that cannot be acknowledged on the bridge, but for which information is required about their status and treatment.
