Solution
This function enables Airmar compatible transducers to transmit important data to the DFF1 or DFF3, including transducer model, functions, frequency, power rating, beam pattern, impedance, ceramic element configuration and acoustic window material. Through this Airmar Transducer ID feature, the DFF1 and DFF3 Fish Finders will automatically know the connected transducer's precise frequency, operating power and impedance so it can tune its operation to automatically adjust and optimize the Fish Finder's performance.
