Question
Can I transfer my chart licences from one system to my new one. For example can I move all my chart licences from my NN3D system to a new TZT2 system?
Solution
No. Charts are licenced to the system hardware for which it was purchased. When you sell your existing unit, the charts go with it unless you happen to also have a product with a cross-licencing agreement. Some versions of Nobeltec/MaxSea/TZ have such an agreement allowing one purchase to be on both connected systems. When we diconnect the PC licence from your old system and connect it to your new system; products with the cross-licencing will automatically be granted codes; for those same charts which was previously licenced.
