1715 dome belt alignment

​The Heading switch will synch the sweep. It is a micro switch that is activated by the magnet located on the antenna. When the antenna turns and the magnet goes by, the switch is activated, a heading pulse is sent to the display. The heading pulse starts the sweep. So, all you need to do is put the belt back on and make sure it is not overly tight, or too loose. It is a tooth style belt so you don't have to put too much tension on it. There should be a little movement back and forth in the middle of the belt.
