Question
Will the FCV582L unit output a GPS position with the sounder data?
Solution
The FCV582L will not output any NMEA Data that it receives. However, Furuno does have a unit that will combine two NMEA inputs and output them on one port. The part number for this NMEA Data Combiner Unit is SAP-382-501. This unit requires a 5 volt DC external power source to operate.
