About the job:

Furuno USA, based in Camas, WA, is looking for an Information Systems Manager to oversee cloud-based business systems for its 100 users in multiple locations in the USA and an office in Panama. We are looking for an innovative thinker with strong background in the Microsoft ecosystem featuring D365 Business Central, D365 CRM, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, M365 Office Apps, integration experience, cloud services and leadership for incorporating AI into core business systems. The ideal candidate can evaluate business processes and work collaboratively to identify processes that can be improved utilizing AI. Has excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, extensive experience working with Business Partners, all core business systems are contracted with consulting firms.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience managing IT business systems, formal education in Information Technology / Computer Science a plus
  • 5+ years’ experience working with Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Experience with transitioning on-premises business systems to the cloud – Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics 365 CRM, BI Reports (Jet Reports), website platform, contact / calls center communication systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft ecosystems - M365 Apps, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, strong Excel skills, SQL database with emphasis on Business Central
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Able to lead Technology meetings with executive management and department managers to identify business processes improvements
  • Strong knowledge of application integration between core business systems

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify, evaluate, and implement technology solutions that align with organizational growth and operational objectives.
  • Develop and manage IT budgets, providing support for budget line items and ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Manage IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Leverage and develop the skills of the Information Technology staff to meet the business needs of Furuno USA.
  • Oversees annual review of daily back-ups of data, and disaster recovery plan, Veeam Knowledge a plus.
  • Review with Business Analyst to ensure system integrations and third-party data integrations provide seamless data flow across all platforms.
  • Work with Network Administrator to review the design, deployment, and maintenance of network, ensure infrastructure is scalable, and capable of supporting cloud applications.
  • Review cybersecurity awareness and prevention strategies to safeguard organizational assets and data.
  • Review appropriate security controls are in place to protect digital files, vital electronic infrastructure, and respond to security breaches and viruses.
  • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with consultants, administrators, peer managers, supervisors, staff, and vendors to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Regular on-site attendance is required.

Starting salary begins at $121,441 plus annual discretionary bonus.

Employees are covered by basic life, long-term disability with optional coverage for short-term disability, voluntary life, and supplemental insurance. Employees can enroll in the company’s 401K plan as well as a flexible spending plan. First year employees are eligible to receive 8 hours of PTO every month. PTO accrual increases with years of service. 3.33 hours of disability bank hours accrued monthly with a maximum benefit of 240 hours. 10 paid holidays annually.
