 About Capt. Mike:

Captain Mike Genoun caught his first fish 47 years ago and hasn’t stopped since! He is the founder of Florida Sport Fishing Magazine and creator and host of two television shows, Florida Sport Fishing TV, now airing its 12th consecutive season, and the exciting new series Capt. Mike's Rigging Station. 

Capt. Mike is a seasoned writer/editor of over 1,000 articles and renowned public speaker. He has vast experience in saltwater angling from New England to the Florida Keys, including numerous angling adventures across the Bahamas, Guatemala, Panama, Costa Rica, Mexico, and more. His favorite species include yellowfin tuna and striped bass off the Jersey coast, and prize wahoo and trophy-class mutton snapper from his home waters of Florida, although if it swims Capt. Mike will catch it!

Capt/ Mike’s SeaVee 390Z is outfitted with dual TZT3 MFDs, and he relies heavily on his Furuno radar’s Bird Mode, plus PBG from his DFF3D Multibeam Sonar.
