 About Capt. Laramy:

Born and raised in Florida, Captain Laramy Strickland has spent his life on the water, both fresh and salt, having invested countless hours learning the fisheries. After graduating high school, Laramy fished the Major Leauge Fishing Pro Circuit on the freshwater side for three years with great success. His passion for offshore fishing never waverd, however, and he decided to make it a career. Fishing Florida Charters has four Freeman’s in their fleet, two 34’ and two 42’, all equipped with full NavNet TZtouch3 suites of electronics.

Home base for Laramy is Crystal River, Florida for eight months out of the year, where he targets some of the finest reef fish in the world, including gag grouper, red grouper, scamp grouper, red snapper, mangrove snapper, yellowtail snapper, and more. Laramy rounds out the rest of the year in Port Canaveral, Florida chasing yellowfin tuna, wahoo, and dolphin.
