 About Capt. Garrett:

A native Floridian, Garrett grew up fishing for everything from redfish inshore in crystal river, offshore trolling in the keys for Mahi, yellowfin tuna in port Canaveral, and shallow water gags in Hudson or red snapper in Destin, using old-school Furunos CRT Radars and, later, NavNet VX2.

Captain Garrett turned his passion into a career and, with his partner, Laramy Strickland, they manage Fishing Florida Charters, The outfit runs two 34’ and two 42’ Freemans equipped with complete NavNet TZtouch3 packages. Garrett runs charters out of Crystal River from June to December, and Port Canaveral from March to May for Yellowfin Tuna and Mahi.

Garrett loves fishing for anything that swims in saltwater, but slow pitch jigging for large gags and trolling for yellowfin tuna are among his favorite.
